Book banning in Alabama

An Alabama legislator is seeking to ban from all public and university libraries in his state any books or other materials that include any kind of gay orientation. Even plays such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" would be banned under this legislation. A public librarian in the state estimates that half the books from libraries could be removed, depending on how one interprets the law.
